Natural leather-is highly esteemed in the upholstery world for its unparalleled durability. It excels as a material for furniture upholstery meant to withstand the test of time, all while retaining its prestigious appearance. This material is characterized by its high resistance to wear, which is a crucial factor in choosing upholstery for everyday use. The natural grain of leather adds a unique character to every piece of furniture. Upholstery made from leather is soft and pleasant to the touch, translating into comfort and satisfaction for users.
For cleaning -
Before cleaning, thorough vacuuming of furniture is essential, paying close attention to seams, creases, and recesses. This can be done using a vacuum cleaner, cloth (cotton or microfiber), or a soft bristle brush. Removing dust minimizes the need for cleaning agents and reduces dirt build-up. When using a cleaner, apply it to a damp sponge or cloth and gently rub the affected areas. Rinse the cloth or sponge with clean warm water to remove dirt and excess cleaner, repeating the process if necessary. Avoid vigorous rubbing and ensure the leather does not become overly wet.
After cleaning, apply a maintenance agent evenly to the upholstery, focusing on areas like the backrest, seat, and armrests. Allow the upholstery to absorb the preservative for approximately 10 hours to protect against colour fading, cracking, and nourish the leather, enhancing its durability and lifespan.
